Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

KFC and Crocs recently collaborated on fried chicken-inspired footwear, which comes with chicken-scented drumstick charms, Business Insider reports.

The shoes were unveiled yesterday at Fashion Week in New York City, when artist Me Love Me a Lot (MLMA), donned the clogs at the event.

“Combining the unmistakable look of our world-famous fried chicken and signature KFC bucket with the unparalleled comfort and style of Crocs, these shoes are what fried chicken footwear dreams are made of,” Andrea Zahumensky, the chief marketing officer of KFC US, said in a press release.

The footwear features the famous red and white KFC bucket stripes, a sizable image of fried chicken and chicken-scented Jibbitz drumstick charms attached on top. Despite their chicken scent, the charms are definitely not edible.

While the exact version of the platform bucket clogs that MLMA wore at fashion week will not be available for purchase by the general public, customers will be able to buy the shoe company’s clog version from sometime in the spring.

Now here’s a true KFC fan – this man was shamed for proposing in KFC but he definitely had the last laugh as offers to fund his wedding came pouring in:

“As Crocs continues to create new, unexpected brand collaborations, we’re thrilled with this ‘bucket list’ partnership with Kentucky Fried Chicken that will bring fans an unbelievably fun and fashionable take on our classic clog,” Terence Reilly, Crocs’ senior vice president and chief marketing officer, said in the press release.

If you’re interested in getting your hands on a pair, you can purchase them on crocs.com for $59.99 when the shoes are released around springtime. And if you would like to be in with a chance of ordering these shoes as soon as they are available, you can sign up at crocs.com to be alerted of just that.
