Cheesy Lahmacun Flatbreads

These easy, cheesy lahmacun change the game at half time – spiced lamb mince on a fluffy flatbread piled high with mozzarella, chillies, and yoghurt! Plus, they pair perfectly with an ice cold Pepsi MAX.

Ingredients

for the meat mixture

200glamb mince

1/2onion

3garlic cloves

1 tbsptomato paste

5cherry tomatoes

3 tbspflat leaf parsley

1 tspsmoked paprika

1 tspground cumin

1 tspground sumac (optional)

Salt and pepper, to taste

for the flatbread

4flatbreads

Shredded mozzarella cheese

2red chillies, sliced

to serve

Greek yoghurt

Fresh mint leaves

Chilli flakes

Reheat these pizzas in the air fryer or in the oven at half time. P.S. all of these ingredients are available on Amazon Fresh!

Method

Start by making the lamb mixture. To a food processor add the onion, garlic, tomatoes, tomato paste, parsley, and spices. Pulse until combined, then add to a bowl with the lamb mince and mix until combined

Spread all over the flatbreads, then top with shredded cheese. With any leftover lamb mixture, dollop on top of the cheese. Finish with thin slices of red chilli

Pop into a 210 C oven for 10 minutes and finish under the grill or cook in the airfryer, until the flatbread is crispy, the cheese is bubbling, and the lamb is cooked

Serve with yoghurt, chilli flakes, and fresh herbs. Enjoy!
