Ingredients

French toast nuggets:

1loaf bread, cut into 1" slices

3eggs

120mlmilk

2 tspsugar

1 tspvanilla extract

Cinnamon Sugar:

200gsugar

2 tspcinnamon

A solid rule of thumb in the Twisted kitchen is the assertion that life generally improves when you cut things into tiny little cubes and dust them with cinnamon sugar. That's certainly the case in this french toast recipe. This is the perfect snack to feed the sweet tooth, to be enjoyed during movie night, as a party snack or scoffed at three in the morning because you can't sleep knowing they're still in the kitchen. Enjoy!

Method

Cut all crusts off each slice of bread, and cut int 9 squares.

In a bowl whisk together egg, milk, sugar and vanilla until combined.  Toss each square of bread in the egg mixture to coat.

Fry each square in a hot pan with butter an oil and be sure to fry each side until golden brown.

Mix together 1/3 cup sugar and cinnamon to create cinnamon sugar. Toss all the French toast bites in the cinnamon sugar.  Serve with maple syrup

Enjoy!
