What's your favourite pizza topping? How do you feel about going against the rules laid down by Italian pizzaiolos?

We all know the debates about pineapple, and the like.

But one man is determined to push the pizza topping debate a little further, putting a rather unusual ingredient on his..

Posting on Reddit, the user, @MisterDefender, shared what he said was an "acquired taste," but one he seemed to be a fan of.

It started with your standard doughy base – and we're pretty sure there's some tomato and cheese under there, too.

Then, it came topped with a roast dinner essential – yep, you guessed it, gravy – alongside baked beans, peas and crispy fried potatoes.

Take a look at it for yourself...

Responding to the joke about it something that grows on you, someone quipped back: "So is prison. You should be there."

Another shared a meme that read: "Right to jail. Right away."

A third penned: "Seek help."

"That’s one taste I do not want to acquire," a fourth chimed in.

Now, we're not against all unusual pizza toppings, but we can all see that this particular example looks a *little* bit soggy and sorry for itself.

We've even created a few of our own unique pizzas over the year, recently (although we think they're a little more appetising!)

Fancy a Greek inspired Gyros on your pizza? We're talking marinated chicken thighs, olives, a tomato and onion salad, honey halloumi, and fresh tzatziki on a tomato base...pretty delicious right? Find that recipe here.

What about a Scouse pizza? This one's made with an iconic Liverpudlian stew on a classic pizza base.

Braised beef short ribs, potatoes, carrots and melty mozzarella cheese are all on there, too, alongside some pickled cabbage to finish.
