Milky Way lovers, your time is now.

Iceland is just about to drop croissants filled with the popular chocolate and fluffy nougat, and it sounds absolutely dreamy.

The croissants have been available in Europe since the start of the year, and now, after pleas from fans, they're making it to UK shelves.

So far, Iceland is the only supermarket that has professed to be stocking the breakfast treat, but we'll update you if we find out about any others.

"These croissants are out of this world. Keep your eyes peeled because they're landing in stores and online next week," the supermarket said on its socials.

We don't have an official date yet, but we'd suggest checking your local store early next week, as the reaction was pretty epic.

"Omfg," said one person in the comments, while another wrote: "ooh, looking forward to trying these."

"Well that’s my diet gone out the window," joked a third.

Alongside the Milky Way croissants you can also find Mars filled croissants, with rich Mars chocolate and notes of caramel inside.

Iceland hasn't announced the price of the chocolate filled croissants yet, but a standard pack of four croissants costs £1.30, so we'd hazard a guess you'd be expecting a slight increase on that, for the filled ones.

Iceland is pulling out all the stops at the moment, and not just with the sweet breakfast treats.

Those partial to something more savoury will be all over the supermarket's plate-sized hash brown. Yep, you read that right.

The plate-sized hash brown is... you guessed it, the size of a literal plate, meaning you can decant your brekky onto the potato. Genius, eh?

The giant hash browns are said to hit shelves in mid April, and will cost £2 a pop.

Andrew Staniland, Group Buying Director at Iceland & The Food Warehouse said of the launch: "We’re so excited for the launch of the Iceland Ridiculously Crispy two Plate Sized Hash Browns.

"Customers will officially be able to get their hands on the giant hash browns from early April for only £2.00 – the perfect product to create the ultimate fry-up."
