Twisted: Unserious food tastes seriously good.

Stop what you’re doing… Aldi has just launched the ultimate crisp flavour, and we need it immediately.

Inspired by the ultimate comfort food, the supermarket has only gone and dropped garlic bread crisps. Yup, you read that correctly.

The Specially Selected Garlic Bread Crinkle Cut Crisps, are on sale for just £1.15, and arrived on shelves on Sunday (30th July).

What a dream mashup.

They’re flavoured with smoky garlic (as you’d expect), so you probably won’t wanna be kissing anyone after eating them.

They’re not the only quirky flavour in the Specially Selected range, as you can also order Croque-Monsieur Crinkle Cut Crisps, which taste of the delicious French cheese and ham toastie. What a treat.

You can get both crisp flavours right now in stores nationwide, and via click and collect.

On the topic of garlic bread, did you hear there’s now a restaurant dedicated entirely to the stuff?

The new restaurant comes from the team behind Ciaooo, a popular Manchester pizzeria, and they have opened their new unit in Shudehill.

You know that you’ll be in safe hands because the team is famed for offering their sourdough crusts and buratta-topped pizzas.

For those who want to play it safe, the establishment offers a plain garlic bread option, and obviously cheese-topped garlic bread is on the menu.

For anybody wanting to push the boat out a little more, Ciaooo offers loaded garlic bread too, and you can pack it with truffle, pesto and marinara, amongst other things.

You can read the full deets about their menu here.
